I also have a 29-figure unit of ESCI ACW Union figures, plus a detachment of 10 or 12 painted in green uniforms as Berdan's Sharpshooters.
Archduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650770985225450559.post-41975119626731691302015-10-31T14:43:49.984-07:002015-10-31T14:43:49.984-07:00Thanks! My CSA army has a whole Division of 10 regiments (3 Brigades) holding their rifles and muskets at the high port; my Union a Division (2 Brigades) of standing and kneeling firing, plus 7 other Brigades. Of these one is made up of ESCI figures. The ESCI design figures, lacking the individual character of the Airfix, are best made up into mixed pose units. That gives the units character, and an animated look.
Archduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650770985225450559.post-22667078983765177802015-10-31T14:32:28.386-07:002015-10-31T14:32:28.386-07:00Thanks, Paul. I also like the Confederates units being made up of marching poses. jhnptrqnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11011208263053721255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650770985225450559.post-55489569564661778082015-10-31T03:07:51.300-07:002015-10-31T03:07:51.300-07:00Great report, entertaining and informative and the...Great report, entertaining and informative and the soldiers look splendid.Paul Liddlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07671334487545618109noreply@blogger.com
