Most of them are Minifigs, but that army has also been augmented by other manufactures: some cute little 'Hotspur' figures (3 'understrength' battalions); some shako units of unknown provenance that I have done as Hungarians; and a couple of what I now suspect were mediocre quality Hinton Hunt pirated knock-offs, and were supposed to be Bavarians. Still and all, they made two useful 24-figure battalions...
Even a plastic unit has been included in this army: a 16-figure unit of Italeri Hussars - I've long been impressed with the quality of this company's figures - painted as the 4th (Hessen-Homburg) Husaren.
I think this calls for another posting...Archduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650770985225450559.post-67383159995200671222010-10-04T08:27:28.436-07:002010-10-04T08:27:28.436-07:00Lovely figures, sir. I wouldn't part with them for the world.A Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07834159033854153921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650770985225450559.post-57240558767434649302010-10-04T04:19:31.986-07:002010-10-04T04:19:31.986-07:00Hi Paul -

Napoleonic again...?
I am mindful of Jean-Louis's wish for something more in the tricorne and mirleton line, rather than Shako and busby. Progress on the T&M a bit slow at present, but we'll get there. The 'Age of Unreason' will also continue the story of Leutnant Klutz and his suicide patrol... One day...

Cheers,
IonArchduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650770985225450559.post-61981737639027815592010-10-04T02:21:39.657-07:002010-10-04T02:21:39.657-07:00Hi Ion,
