There's still a little bit of 'finishing' work to be done on some of the elements, but by and large these armies are ready to go. I, III and IV Army Corps will be operating in the Azurian theatre, II Corps against Turcowaz along the Pardis River in Medifluvia.

Next time: Azuria's ally, Turcowaz.

  1. Another fine, and large army! It's good to have a parade every now and then.

Years in the building, and has seen some action in the Medifluvian campaign of a few years ago...
      Cheers!

  2. A nice parade of the army and a good breakdown on the forces present.

These parades are useful aides memoire for me to determine (a) what further work needs doing (not overmuch) and (b) for future reference.

And, of course, it is nice to add pictures to the TO&E lists.
      Cheers,

Sir Goshdarn is younger brother of Sir Grinmore Scarlett, of Medifluvian ... erm ... renown.
When I was scratching around for an army for Turcowaz (insyead of using Azurian ring-ins) I got hold of a Strelits-R Crimean war box. Supplied Turcowaz Infantry, Izumrud-Zeleniya and the Highlanders. Well, I had to use, 'em, eh?

These are all quite nice armies, fun to use, and worthy of big events.
      Cheers,
      Ion

  4. Archduke Piccolo (Ion),

What another magnificent army! I look forward to seeing the Army of Turcowaz.

I am following your lead and adding some extra bits to my Belle Epoque collection.

    All the best,

    Bob

      Thank's for your kind comment!

I've just posted the Army of Turcowaz. This and the Army of Izumrud-Zeleniya are rather smaller than the armies of Azuria and Ruberia. The Army of Izumrud-Zeleniya I will post tomorrow. It is the smallest of the four, but well equipped with cavalry and artillery.

The 'Blacklands' I'll be leaving as an entirely distinct theatre - in effect a separate war.

I have yet to make theatre maps, still thinking of how I'm going to make those.
      Cheers,
      Ion

    1. Neil,
Tally ho! Pip Pip! and Here's mud in your eye! I still have to make the Theatre maps, and figure out a sensible strategy for the Ruberians in particular in Azuria.
      Cheers,
      Ion
